Episode 06: Verushka Darling - Drag Queen Extraordinaire
Verushka Darling is a Hall of Fame inducted drag queen extraordinaire. She's smart, funny, and an entertainer. She burst onto the scene in the early 90’s as a fashion model with ultra-long hair and an hourglass figure.
She’s written and performed in award winning stage shows and has produced internationally acclaimed dance parties. She made history in 1999 when she became the first Drag Queen in Australia to host her own TV show Verushka’s Closet on MTV. She's also appeared in internationally awarded advertising campaigns and today shares the mental health journey of working in the performance industry as a drag queen.
