Season 1 Episode #20: Bronwyn Bate, Founder, Mettle - Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors
In the aftermath of this year’s International Women’s Day, we sat down with Mettle cofounder, Bronwyn Bate, the domestic violence charity whose ethical gifts give back, based in Perth. Their social enterprise employs women who have experienced homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence.
We wanted to spark some conversation that is great to have in the lead up and during this day each year, but like many other issues, these are conversations that need to be had daily. And when we chatted to Bronwyn in the lead up to this interview, we were shocked by the figures and statistics she stated around the issue.
